The very hungry caterpillar

A good way to introduce the days of the week in pre-school is to tell them the story of "the very hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle.

 It could be the first unit at the beginning of the course. It's a great solution to identify  each day with a picture as they cannot read in English yet.

We have an apple for Monday

We have some pears for Tuesday

We have some plums for Wednesday

We have some  strawberries for Thursday

We have some oranges for Friday

And we have a beautiful butterfly for the weekend!
